Greenvalley bday fun!

I was back in my home of Fairfield at a birthday party. Interesting enough while there were a majority of adults at the party I drew mostly kids that day.
(12 girls and one boy lol) I learned a lot about what's big for kids these days  a lot of fans of Gravity Falls.

Bday at a hugepool in Burlingame!

Have you ever had a day that went wrong in every way? As was the start of the day with this gig. On my way to  the party my wheel fell off of my cart, it rained on my way to the pool,  I had to walk up a dirt road for 45 mins and the a steep hill with a cart! I found out the bible is true when it says that life and death are in the powerof the tongue because I was thining negatively about my circumstances that day. Yet ,God in his grace and mercy had a joyful surprise for me at the party. A friend of mine who is a face painter was there working and  I recieved a heartfelt hug and great praise report about a miracle that God did through me that changed the life of my friend. I really needed to hear that ill never forget this gig.

Prom and grad night season 2013

A  compilation  of two events that take up my summer schedule! I was busy out in the east bay for both a prom and later 2 grad nights.
These jobs are often the most fun as well as taxing. Its always exciting to learn about where the youth want to go in life. Cant wait for next year!

A memorable bday for a little girl

I was hired by a friend to draw at his daughter's birthday party. With the gig he wanted a gift caricature of her. This was the  final.
Absolutely cute!

Another adventure in San Josie!

2012, the Lord took me to San Jose four times . This event was for the b-day for a Computer Engineer. This  party was memorable because not because of the location or just the event itself  but, for the very unique gathering of friends, family, clients, etc. who knew and loved the B-day star. It was so diverse not only of the different  ages of people but their career backgrounds as well. It's wonderful to see how a person can affect another person even by just meeting them where they are at. The word of God tells us to not just say we love people but to actually love people. This party reminded me of that truth.

Oh so cute in Sacramento!

Halloween is so much fun with children! The costumes at this particular B-day gathering were so adorable!
I love drawing kids! They don't worry about the way they look  like adults. They just love being turned into a cartoon!

Summer time in northern california means gradnites galore!

Gradnite! One of the Caricaturist's most common seasonal event in summer. I saw myself out in the east bay    and way up north in Chico. I'm always amazed at how the promoter and planners always are so creative with Gradnite Festivities. Some are just general fun activities like video games, dance floors, and unlimited eats but, the themes at the east bay parties I was drawing at were very creative. One had a all Disney theme and the other was a tour of California. I was very impressed. The teens were all great. I'll be back for one school this year. I can't wait to see what happens this year!

A wild and crazy weekend in the south bay area...

Man , October was bananas for me last year! I worked from Saturday afternoon to Sunday evening . I had Three parties that weekend starting in Fremont. I was drawing cute little kids at a birthday party. The party was nuts! They had a petting zoo and good , good, Indian cuisine! (I love indian food son! If you got chicken tandori or curry with rice at your party man I'm there!) I was working there for an hour and half  but, they kept me over time for another hour, which made me a bit late for my second gig that night in San Jose. This Halloween party was fun and it was an older home with many rooms which fit the theme. Everyone was so gracious and the young ladies who planned the party were cool ! I would stay overnight and attend church in Santa Clara then move on to my final gig of the weekend in Belmount, Ca. It was at a beautiful Senior Facility. I met some fantastic people there and I hope to visit them again. I was pooped but, God's love was being lifted up everywhere I went!
